Be creative on stretched canvas Canvases 183 Paint with acrylic paint With acrylic paint for canvas, you can create different expressions, depending on the tools and techniques you use (e.g. paintbrush, painting knife or scratching technique). You can paint with or without making a sketch first. Decorate with Structure Paste Create beautiful textures and relief effects on your canvas with Structure Paste applied with a spatula, painting knife or similar. After drying, add diluted or undiluted paint, depending on the desired expression. Cover with modelling compounds Create exciting figures, surfaces and 3D effects with the self-hardening modelling compounds Silk Clay, Foam Clay and Pearl Clay, which mould and stick easily to the rough surface of the canvas. Decorate with pouring fluid Create exciting marbling effects with pouring fluid, which can be mixed with several different colours of acrylic paint to make them more fluid. Pour the multicoloured mixture over the canvas and watch how the colours blend together. Decoupage with decoupage glue/varnish Add fun and exciting effects to your painting by gluing a collage of cut-outs onto the canvas using decoupage glue/ varnish. The cut-outs can be photocopies, photos, glossy decoupage paper, napkins etc.
